Energy Healing, the Healer, and the Methods

Dear friend,

This blog post is for those who have never tried energy healing but are curious about it. You might wonder: Can this method be trusted? Does it involve magic or harmful spirits? Is it against religion?

To address these concerns, I’ve organized this post in a Q&A format to help you understand energy healing better. Let’s dive in!

1. What is energy healing?

Simply put, energy healing involves transferring energy from a source with abundant energy to one that lacks it, or transforming negative energy into positive energy.

Our bodies are composed of an energy field, often referred to as prana, qi, or chi. This energy field reflects our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. While we can naturally heal ourselves, intense negative energy from emotional trauma, physical illness, or other external factors can deplete us. In such cases, a healer can assist by recharging or balancing your energy.

2. Where does the energy for healing come from?

The source of healing energy varies depending on the healer. Here are some common sources:

  • Universal energy: Reiki or Prana energy.
  • Ancestors: As in traditional shamanic practices.
  • The healer’s own energy: Love and intention, similar to a mother praying for her sick child.
  • Deities, guardian spirits, or higher beings: Accessible in certain spiritual practices.
  • Saints, spiritual teachers, or holy figures.
  • God’s energy: The ultimate source of creation and wisdom.

In my practice, while I’ve trained in Reiki, I now work with God’s energy, channeling His wisdom and the highest energy possible during sessions.

3. How does it work?

Energy flows and radiates naturally. It moves from areas of abundance to areas of lack.

In energy healing, the healer sets an intention to channel energy—often from nature or God—into the client’s body. Personally, I focus on connecting with God’s energy through my crown chakra and channeling it through my hands. This process ensures that I act as a medium rather than using my personal energy.

4. What are the effects of energy healing on the body?

Here are some common experiences during or after an energy healing session:

  • Physical sensations: Warmth, coolness, heaviness, or lightness in certain body parts as energy shifts.
  • Dizziness or floating sensations.
  • Sleepiness: As your body transitions from stress to relaxation mode.
  • Fatigue: Contrary to common expectation, that after healing you will fill fresh, most of time healing can make you feel very tired. When you held stress or trauma, imagine all your body is contracted. Then when you back to rest mode, your body need time to fully relax. Embrace this as a sign of recovery and give yourself time to rest.
  • Mental clarity and insight: Blockages or limiting beliefs may release, broadening your perspective.
  • Energetic lightness: You might feel as though a burden has been lifted, leaving you more relaxed and peaceful.

5. Is energy healing against religion?

Energy healing is not inherently against religion. For instance, Jesus is often considered one of the greatest energy healers, capable of channeling God’s energy to produce immediate results. His abilities to heal people and to change nature, while extraordinary, align with the laws of energy and physics.

Ultimately, trust your intuition. If energy healing doesn’t feel right for you, it’s okay. If you decide to try it, approach the experience with neutrality and openness.

6. Can energy healing treat physical issues?

It depends.

For physical issues caused by accidents, infections, or structural problems (like broken bones), consulting a doctor is essential. Energy healing can complement medical treatment by supporting the immune system, helping you in grounding your emotions and promoting overall well-being but should not replace it.

Many physical issues, however, are connected to emotional blockages. (See my other blog post on chakra healing for more information.)

7. Popular Energy Healing Methods

There are many approaches to energy healing. Here are a few popular ones:

  • Reiki and Prana Healing: Practitioners channel universal energy to the client through light touch or by hovering hands above the body. Energy can also be sent remotely.
  • Crystal Healing: Crystals amplify energy and resonate with specific frequencies. Different stones correspond to various chakras or intentions.
  • Sound Healing: Instruments like singing bowls and tuning forks create vibrations that balance the body’s energy centers.
  • Other modalities: Acupuncture, breathwork, meditation, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), hypnotherapy, Qigong, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and more can also shift energy effectively.

8. How to Choose and Work with an Energy Healer

  • Identify your focus: Healing often addresses one or two issues at a time, much like peeling layers of an onion.
  • Check the healer’s expertise: The more experienced and energetically “clean” the healer, the more effective the session. The healer also become healer after they finish with their life problem. So some will expertise more on certain issue, such as feminine/masculine energy, relationship, abundance, or body issue.
  • Talk to the healer: Discuss your concerns and see if you feel comfortable with their energy and approach. Trust your intuition.
  • Do your research: Look for reviews, recommendations, or testimonials.

A Note from Yuka

I do not offer services like instant karma removal, cutting cord, or black magic removal. Karma represents life lessons that must be faced and resolved for growth by yourself. My role is to provide save space, guide and support you in finding closure on your karma and returning to love.

As for black magic removal, I don’t have expertise on that matter.

I am open to discuss and consult for you who experience spiritual things, or if you wish to become healer one day 😊

I hope this post provides clarity and encouragement if you’re considering energy healing.

With love,
Yuka
