The Power of Chakra Healing for Emotional and Physical Well-Being

Many of you might have heard about chakras. But what are they really? And why is it important to understand them?

The term “chakra” originates from the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “circle,” symbolizing the spinning vortices of energy within the body. In simple terms, we can think of them as wheels of energy. Understanding these wheels of energy can help you regulate your body’s energy—physical, mental, and emotional. If you want to increase your overall well-being, examining your chakras and healing them from negative energy while charging them with positive energy can be incredibly effective.

The Seven Main Chakras: A Brief Overview of Their Functions and Signs of Blockage

There are seven major chakras located along the spine, each governing specific aspects of our lives. While there are also minor chakras in the body, this blog will focus on the seven main ones. Let’s explore them:

Ideal Chakra Conditions

I used to believe that all chakras should be large and radiant. Larger chakras imply greater capabilities, and radiance reflects positive energy. However, my teacher taught me that it’s not always the case. Let me share insights from my experiences in healing clients.

Chakra Size: Some people naturally have larger chakras, often linked to their roles in life (e.g., a CEO). If your chakras are smaller, it’s okay—they grow as your soul matures. Problems arise when chakras shrink or become stagnant due to unresolved trauma.

Balance Over Size on these chakras:

A well-opened crown chakra fosters spiritual connection. A radiant heart chakra allows love and compassion to flow. A balanced solar plexus chakra ensures confidence without over-controlling tendencies. A stable root chakra ensures a foundation of security without excessive focus on material wealth.

Chakra Healing: How It Works

Blocked chakras can lead to negative emotions, physical discomfort, and life imbalances. Often, we seek medical help for physical symptoms without realizing the root cause lies in our energy system. Here’s how you can heal and balance your chakras:

  1. Chakra Healing Meditation:

Visualize energy flowing and balancing your chakras. For example, imagine a green light glowing in your chest to heal your heart chakra. If you are beginner, please find meditation center/teacher who can give you save space and guidance. Please don’t do it alone if you are beginner.

  1. Reiki or Pranic Healing:

Reiki practitioners channel energy to unblock and balance chakras. Focusing on one chakra at a time can yield deeper results. Some of the practitioners also use crystals associated with each chakra (e.g., amethyst for the crown chakra, carnelian for the sacral chakra).

  1. Self-Healing with Mindfulness, Journaling and Affirmations:

Practice mindfulness and journaling to become aware of negative emotions. Do emotional release using breathing, Sedona method, EFT, or other method that you like. And positive affirmations to increase your energy.

I hope this post helps you understand the power of chakra healing. Remember, healing is a journey, and every step counts!
